They are back! South Charlotte and Union County are serving up the supreme in Family Favorite Awards - we're looking for the BEST OF THE BEST in all of South Charlotte - from Uptown to Union County - in our COMBINED Family Faves Awards!
As you know parenting in South Charlotte and Union County is made easier by all of the super kid- and family-friendly local businesses! So let's show our local businesses some love and share your favorites with the community!
How does it Work?
We want to know your go-to spots, who do you tell your besties about when you need a cake, a party planner, a tutor ... who do you call? Do kids need to burn off some crazy energy where do you go? Best rainy day ideas? Tell us! We will take nominations from now until February 18, 2026 . If you're not a subscriber sign up today to South Charlotte and Union County MacaroniKID so you can follow along with all the fun and receive our FREE weekly e-newsletter jammed packed with local events! There is only one ballot per email address, please.
Businesses must be located in South Charlotte and Union County ~ After nominations are in we will tally the votes and the top 3 in each category will be put to you for a vote!

Not only will you get to bask in the love of your fans, but we will also be giving the winner in each category a year's worth of advertising for FREE in our business directory, and special pricing for additional advertising opportunities, a certificate to display so other families know you are MK approved and the satisfaction of knowing that you are rocking the QC like no one else! If you're a business owner and want a "nominate us" logo for your website or Facebook page shoot us an email rebeccap@macaronikid.com and we will send you the goods! Get the word out! Let your fans know via your email blasts, websites, social media outlets, and any other way you can let them know you need their support! We know some businesses are planning on sending dedicated e-blasts to their email subscribers, let us know if you want a logo and links for an email blast and we will hook you up!
